Ingredient list:

  • 3 Boiled Potatoes (medium-sized)
  • Raw Papaya - 1/4 Cup (julienne cut)
  • Onion - 1/4 Cup (thinly sliced or diced)
  • Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Pahari Roots Aloo Muri/ Jhal muri Masala
  • Aloo Sev Bhujia
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Tamarind Water - 3 tbsp
  • Muri / Puffed Rice - 1 Cup
  • Mustard Oil - 1 tsp
Method:

To make this popular Shillong snack recipe -

Step 1:

Mix the ingredients together. Take a deep glass bowl and add puffed rice, potato, onion, ginger, green chilli, Aloo muri Masala,  tamarind water, and bhujiya sev. Mix these ingredients gently with a spoon.

Step 2:

Add mustard oil and salt
Mix them gently again.

Step 3:

Garnish and serve
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve. You can serve this snack with tea in a paper cone to give it a desi touch.
