How We Began

THE GENESIS

Not all turmeric is created equal.


It started with a simple realization: the mass produced spices flooding our markets were shadows of what they should be. Stripped of potency, laced with fillers, disconnected from the land that birthed them.


Our founder s journey led to the misty highlands of Meghalaya, where the Jaintia tribes have cultivated Lakadong turmeric for generations. Here, in volcanic soil enriched by centuries of organic matter, grows the world s most potent turmeric with curcumin levels reaching 8 12%, compared to the standard 23%.


But it wasn't just the science that captivated us. It was the wisdom of Kong Martha, who could read the soil like ancient scripture. The calloused hands of Bah Kyrmen, tending his terraced plots as his grandfather had. The resilience of communities preserving purity in an age of compromise.
